Accreditation Statement for Metropolitan Christian University Chicago (MCUC)

Metropolitan Christian University Chicago (MCUC) is dedicated to providing rigorous Theological education that integrates biblical scholarship, ministerial training, and Christian leadership development. MCUC is accredited by the National Association of Private Theological Institutions (NAPTI) and the National Bible College Association (NBCA), two recognized ecclesiastical accrediting bodies committed to maintaining high standards in faith-based education.

Institutional Accreditation and Recognition

MCUC’s accreditation by NAPTI and NBCA affirms its commitment to academic excellence and ministerial preparation. These accreditations allow MCUC to offer a diverse range of programs that equip students with theological depth, biblical literacy, and practical ministry skills.

While these accreditations validate MCUC’s theological and ministerial programs, they are not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Therefore, students should be aware that degrees from MCUC may not be eligible for federal financial aid or transfer to regionally accredited institutions. To ensure the highest academic and ministerial standards, MCUC upholds the following educational principles:

Curriculum Integrity: Courses align with theological education benchmarks to prepare students for effective Christian ministry.
Qualified Faculty: Professors hold advanced theological degrees and have extensive experience in biblical scholarship and ministry.
Student Learning Outcomes: Graduates demonstrate biblical competency, Theological reasoning and leadership in Christian service.
Continuous Improvement: MCUC regularly assesses its programs to enhance academic quality and ministerial effectiveness.

Recognized Ecclesiastical Associations:
Christian Life School of Theology Global (CLSTG) is associated with such agencies as the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission and is accredited through the International Association of Bible Colleges and Seminaries.
